From sunlight falling on a leaf to candlelight powered by plant wax, the circle of energy completes itself. Cast into tall columns the colour of Carrara marble, round which twine in low relief wildflowers and garden ornamentals, a new form of statuary is realized – one that beautifully marries both form and function. Each candle is handmade using plant-based wax and cotton wicks. As these candles are conceived as large scale statement pieces to light a feast or celebration, they are unscented so as not to compete with the taste buds. Three wick candles are particularly suited for use as unity candles at wedding ceremonies.
